So tonight I was settling down to watch the night-time edition of "The Price is Right" and it never came on because of breaking news -- the owner of the Seattle Supersonics officially announcing that it has happened -- the Sonics are moving to Oklahoma City and there WILL be an NBA team in Oklahoma City this season! It's all so exciting to me. I love the NBA and I love basketball and as my boys get older I've wanted to take them to some games but they are too far away. We did have the New Orleans Hornets in town for two seasons and even though it was fun to attend a game everyone always knew that they would return to New Orleans so it they were never really "our" team. The team will not be named the "Sonics." They will have a new name. The boys claim it will be the Oklahoma Thunder -- they say that Kevin Durrant's nephew is always at the swimming pool and he gave them this "secret" information. We'll see. Anyway, that's the big news around these parts.....

Yes, hook me up! Don't forget about your kid's favorite nursery leader EVER! Ha, ha....That's awesome to have connections. One of my good friend's from Ricks had connections to the Utah Jazz -- her dad was the publisher of the Deseret News newspaper and they were major contributors to the Delta Center. I went to a couple games with her -- three rows behind the players. It was sweet! Have you noticed my friends have "found" you? Shanon loves you and my Mobile friends like your blog as well - though I don't know if they've found you through me or Liberty...
Congrats to you all for the team. Brooke, I did see Hurst Happenings on both your blog and Liberty's,but I think I clicked onto her from yours for the first time. Can't remember, but I do love her blog. Susan and I were talking how we love that she lets her boys be boys by playing in the mud (that's the kind of mom I wish I was and I hope by reading her blog, it will rub off on me. And I like how sincere and honest she seems. Love that. congrats again on the basketball team.
I know Marc will be so jealous - sports addict that he is... Down here its, football, football, football. But, not just any football - Auburn and Alabama football!! We go to South AL basketball and baseball games and it's so sad how few people are there. So, I guess there's little chance will ever see a professional b-ball team. Oh, well.. But congrats to you=)
Oh, and we do love your friend's blog. I hope she doesn't think we're weird, since we don't know her. Her posts are so cute they makes me laugh out loud!! Okay, maybe I am weird!
