My quirky nature

So I was TAGGED on my friend Andrea's blog to list 6 quirks I have. Those of you that know me well, know that I am perfect and therefore have no quirks so this will be hard to do. JUST KIDDING! Quirky is my middle name. However, I don't want to get quirky and bad habits mixed up so I looked up quirky in the dictionary and here is the definition:

A peculiarity of behavior

Well that really narrows it down. Ha, Ha!

Okay, you asked for them...

1. I talk way too much. Is this really a peculiarity of behavior? I don't know since I really don't understand that definition. I just think talking too much can drive others crazy and I know I drive most people crazy with my constant jabbering.

2. I pick my teeth with my fingers sometimes. Very, very bad habit and quite unattractive as well.

3. My thumb on my left hand is double jointed. I do think that is a peculiar behavior. I can also curl my tongue. So a lot of people can do this but not everyone can!

4. I shave my legs every day. Even when they don't need it. I love that smooth feeling!

5. I don't know if this is a quirky behavior or a bad habit. Probably the latter but I like to snack at night -- like at 3 a.m. I usually like to find something sweet but if I can't find something sweet I'll eat a piece of bread and sometimes I eat in bed. Crumbs. Crumbs. Crumbs.

6. I have to have my kitchen clean before I go to bed. This started when I lived in a trailer in Logan, Utah and did not have a dishwasher. It drove me crazy. I used to always have dirty dishes and when I was pregnant with Zachary I decided for my sanity reasons I'd have to go to bed knowing I could wake up to a clean kitchen. That was something that was completely in my control. So ever since Zachary was born 10 years ago I've only let the kitchen go when I've been completely sick and could not physically clean. I LOVE waking up to a clean kitchen.

7. OK -- So I thought of another one. I am a control freak. If I could have complete control of my house I would love it. I wish I could still do the financial end of everything. It drives me crazy not to pay the bills and see where the money goes. I have a bit of a problem with that and it's been hard to let Joel take over that end of the household. Drives me Crazy!
