Home....At last

Good News! I'm home from Mexico. Well, I still wish I was sitting by the pool and drinking some of those virgin pina coladas (they have them in a machine, like a coke machine) but I made it home after my first official trip out of the country. Joel booked a trip to Cancun about two months ago and made arrangements for his mom to come up from Dallas to watch the boys. We left on Monday and spent an entire week at an all-inclusive resort -- It was great. We spent several days just lounging by the pool and eating and eating and eating....we spent a half-day snorkeling (and I got so sick) and then a full day on a Mayan adventure....we rappelled, went on a zip line, kayaked, hiked through the jungle, swam in an underground cave (which is the drinking water for the Mayan people) rode bikes through the jungle and hiked to the top of Coba, which is an ancient Mayan city full of ruins -- It was a great trip, but I am happy to be home. I missed my boys, I missed my routine and I desperately missed my friends. Enjoy some of the pictures (the resort and Coba). Of course these are professional pictures. I will post some of my pictures as soon as I get a chance to download them....

Welcome back Brooke! The pictures are absolutely breath taking. I can't wait to see yours. The trip sounded so much fun. I would love to rappell and do a zipline and walk through the jungle and all the other things you did, very exciting, and to top it all off, the beautiful resort. How much fun is that? Glad your back though. I missed reading your blogs.
