American Idol mania

So I am leaving for Oklahoma today. I've been in Idaho for almost two weeks and have had a great time. I have mixed feelings about leaving. I'm excited to get back to my routine and the boys are fighting so I know they are starting to get bored. I am planning on slowly blogging about my trip and ever exciting adventures I've had while here. First blog entry....American Idol...

I got here on Sunday night, spent the night at Stephanie's (she lives north of Salt Lake City) and on Monday morning drove up to Idaho only to return to Salt Lake City three hours later with my sister-in-law and BFF Christina. We had bought tickets to go to the American Idol concert and were so excited to see all our favorites. Especially Jason Castro. Ha, Ha. We ended up having great seats and having a great time. The concert consisted of the top ten constestants on American Idol so while we got to see some great performers (Brooke White, Chekeezie, David Cook and that Australian guy) we had to endure some not so great performers (Ramielle and the girl with tatoos.) We didn't hear a thing that David Archuletta sang - remember we are in his hometown with all his "we hope we marry you" wives -- but we think he did well. My favorites were Brooke White (who didn't wear shoes) and of course David Cook. He was great and I can't wait until his album comes out. He's just got such a unique style. More than anything I was just happy to spend time with Christina. We get a long so great and it seems like we don't have enough time together ever. It was a great time. Thanks Christina for taking me!

You look really hot in that picture, I'm not going to lie. If I were David Cook, I'd totally marry you. I'm glad we were "allowed" to have some alone time. It's a miracle I even let your mom give birth to you. ~CB
