So last night at the ballgame I thought outloud who won American Idol and our friend Jennifer whipped out her iphone, which is oh, so cool, and did a search and I found out Cook won and I got excited so Margo also figured out who won. Then I went home and watched his winning moment on youtube and it was so great. I loved his appreciation for the "moment" and loved that someone I have enjoyed the entire season made it. It seems like every person I root for gets voted off as soon as I make my opinion known. One of my favorite Idols ever was Chris Daughtry and the week I really, really started to like him he got the boot. Just the "brooke luck" I guess. Anyway, can't wait to get David Cook's album and since he's "from" Oklahoma maybe he'll do a local show (if you watch his audition tape his town is listed as Tulsa, Ok). Go David. You rock!
