Can you believe I finished another book? I really am not ignoring my children and reading all the time. Summer gives me great opportunities to read -- I take the kids to the pool every day (sometimes twice a day) and pretty much the entire time I am reading. It's great to have kids that know how to swim and since I get no breaks with my kids (Joel is gone day and night all week) when they swim I get a break. Anyway, the book I just finished reading is called "The Boelyn Inheritance" by Philippia Gregory. I had read one of her books several months ago called "The Other Boleyn Sister" (have yet to see the movie) and absolutly loved it. I've never been interested in the English/Tudor era but I just found the story of Henry VIII and his wives fascinating. It's interesting to think while times have changed, things have been discovered, inventions have been made that love and romance really have stayed the same - and the human spirit and the human heart are exactly the same as they were over 400 years ago. My mom told me a few months ago that she traced Joel's ancestry through Katherine Parr who was Henry VIII's last wife and scheduled to be tried for treason (the reason two of his wives were beheaded) but he died before the trial could take place. That's all the more reason to be interested in this era. Anyway, if you want a good read, check it out or borrow it from me....

I don't read but I would like to say that I admire your commentment to your workouts. I have watched you and your friends. I would also like to say that Shelley girl is "Smoking Hot".
I'm making you a shirt that reads: "Book Nazi". I guess I'll make one for my mom too.
And another thing. Who is that old guy "Smokin' Hot Shelley" hangs around with at the gym. She can do much, much better than that.

Joe -- just so you know -- Shelley is one of the nicest people I've met and whatever about some older guy she hangs out with. She was training someone and it may have appeared she was spending too much time with someone, but it was because she is dedicated to the importance of her job and making sure people get the best workout they can - and she's done better than that. She's got a husband and son she loves very much. Speaking of.... I think I've figured out who you are but anyway....
I didn't mean to imply she was doing the guy. That rhymes. Sweet. I never saw anything inappropriate. I just said she is "Smokin' Hot Shelley". Maybe double smokin' or triple. Heck, I'll take a whole pack. I didn't make it to the gym today so I don't know if she was hangin' with Mr. AARP. Maybe she's trying to snag his Social Security check. I did find out a lot about him. Thank God for the internet.
