So three of my boys are playing flag football. Luckily the season is only four weeks long, but there are two games a week (except when OSU has a home game). It's fun to watch them play, but as usual there are those "issues" that arise. Like Nick and Zack's team -- we've had their coach before and he's a nice guy and his son is on the team and the truth is...his son isn't very good, but he doesn't think that way. Two years ago when he was the coach his son played QB every single game and was horrible. Now it seems he's taken over the position of wide receiver and hasn't caught a single pass in the past two games. I guess I can't complain since I haven't volunteered to coach -- that would be funny -- Brooke the flag football coach. I haven't seen one of Andrew's games. The YMCA here is limited in their resources so all the games are played on "borrowed" fields. So Andrew will have a game starting at 6:30 and Nick and Zack will have a game starting at 7. It wouldn't be too bad but their games are at opposite ends of Stillwater. Luckily I know a few people on the teams so we "kid swap." Saturday I should be able to see all of Andrew's game.

I think you'd be a great flag football coach. Why is it you don't see more women coaching boy's teams but see plenty of men coaching girl's teams. It's an injustice.
